Ingredients

4 oz. unsweetened chocolate1 & 1/2 t. vanilla extract
3/4 c. butter or margarine1 c. all purpose flour
2 c. sugar1 c. chopped nuts (optional)
3 eggs

Preparation

  1. Pre-heat oven to 350° F.
  2. Grease a 13 x 9 x 2 in. baking pan.
  3. Melt the butter and chocolate together until mixture is smooth.
  4. Add the sugar and stir with a spoon until well blended.
  5. Add eggs and vanilla and mix ingredients well.
  6. Add the floor and nuts (optional) and stir until well blended.
  7. Spread the mixture into the prepared pan.
  8. Bake 30 to 35 minutes.
Makes about 24 brownies.
